General Counsel

Alex Stern joined MIDAP in 2017 as General Counsel. In this role, Alex oversees and coordinates all legal aspects of the business and assists the rest of the MIDAP team with building and land acquisitions, leasing, property management, marketing, human resources, technology, finance, and construction. Alex also assists and advises the President with all strategic initiatives for the company. Alex graduated from Brown University with a degree in economics. After graduation, he spent a year as an English teacher in Southeast Asia. Upon return to the states, Alex worked on the legislative staff of United States Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.) in Washington, D.C. Alex then graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law where he served as an editor of the Maryland Law Review. Following law school, Alex worked at Arent Fox LLP in Washington, D.C. in the real estate practice group, where he gained experience in commercial real estate financing, leasing, and acquisitions.
